Richard George Aubin Jr. of Central Falls, Rhode Island passed away on January 23, 2023 sadly and unexpectedly. Born on July 17, 1963 in Central Falls, Rhode Island. He was the son of Richard George Aubin Sr. and the late Jennie Lutes. He was the devoted husband and best friend of Pauline Langlois Aubin for over 32 years. He was the loving father of oldest daughter, Cassandra Aubin Prado and her husband Erwin Prado of Pawtucket, Jaymes Aubin and his fiancé Amy Zarek of North Providence, and youngest daughter Rebekah Aubin and her fiancé Joshua North of East Greenwich. Rick was the doting grandfather of Lucas Prado. He leaves his only sister Kristin Boulais and husband David Boulais of Riverside. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Rick was an avid sports fan and enjoyed everything from baseball to Nascar. He also enjoyed fishing and boating and playing in a weekly pool league with his daughter Cassandra. As a child he was athletic and enjoyed the many opportunities to play sports in the community. As a father he coached his children's baseball and basketball teams with enthusiasm and set a fine example for his children that good sportsmanship is the most essential quality to possess. Rick was active in Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts with his son Jaymes. He also was an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church.

Rick and Pauline were very happy and cherished time with their family and extended family. Rick loved to cook and in the summer he would host cookouts in the backyard that everyone was invited to and anything you could possibly desire to eat was served up. He was also very generous and everyone was welcome at their home for cookouts, holidays etc.

Rick was a seasoned and talented Auto Mechanic who was employed by Quality Auto Repair. Rick's father, Richard Sr. owned and operated the shop. Rick felt very fortunate to work in his field of interest and see his father on a daily basis. Rick's father was a great mentor who taught him many valuable skills throughout the years and was a major influence in Rick deciding to become a skilled Auto Mechanic.

To know Rick was to love Rick. He touched so many lives in his 59 years and will be sadly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

The wake will be held at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln, RI, on Sunday January 29th, 2023 from 6pm-9pm. The memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church, 320 High St. Central Falls, RI, on Monday January 30th, 2023 from 10:30am-11:30am. Burial private.
